[Summertime Mommy]

DS came home today with a very swollen face. He says he ran into a pole and didn't tell his teacher. I have been having him keep ice on it, but it looks awful. Can someone look at this picture and tell me if I should be concerned, would you take your ds to the dr if he looked like mine? My ds has never had this happen before so I am a little freaked out. Thanks?

The picture doesn't look dramatic to me, but that might be because I don't know what he normally looks like. Personally I would keep up with the ice and wait and see. If he bumped it, the swelling should go down soon and probably turn into a bruise, I would guess.
