WHY oh WHY must we wait for 2wks to get a positive test? I mean - with the technology we have....you would just think........
It's torture, TORTURE I tell you. And funny thing is, we were pretty darn sure we didn't want anymore. Like....seriously.
I want my BFP....be that Big Fat Positive or Big Faint Positive I care not, just as long as there is more than one line!!
Im 10dpo tomorrow. I sure would like an early positive!

BTW, When does your ob do HCG blood draws? Is there a way that I can request several? Does it really tell you much about it?

I just asked my PCP the the last two times that I was pregnant for a blood draw. The first time she didn't even believe that I'd ovulated and only did it because I wanted her to. The last time was 13 dpo and the time before that was 18 dpo.

You can request multiple betas to make sure that your hCG is doubling properly, too.

I buy cheap pregnancy tests on ebay that are super sensitive - 10miu. I have had faint positives on them as soon as 7dpo. But super sensitive test or not - if that little eggy has not implanted yet (and implantation can happen as late as CD 12 - possibly even later) - then no pregnancy test is going to tell you that you are pregnant yet.

What's even worse is that early pregnancy symptoms and PMS symptoms are the same.
Ugh I know. This past cycle my boobs were so sore after I took off my bra, I was SURE I was pg, only to have AF show up the next day. Grrr...
And I agree that with today's technology we should be able to tell sooner....it's so hard to wait.
