I was out running errands yesterday, and I had 2 different people in different places asking me if I was overdue with the baby. WTF? I'm only 26 weeks pregnant. I'm not really offended, I guess it is just a sign that I am getting closer, but WOW, I didn't think I looked THAT pregnant.

Ugh. I got that all the time with DS. From 6 months on. I think people are clueless as to what a 40 week pregnant woman looks like. So anything after 6-7 months looks "done". It really bugged me last time. Along with the "your huge!" comments. This time, I just don't care anymore.

Crashing from the August DDC...

I went to a shower today where friends commented that I really look like I'm finally showing (I'm 22 weeks on Tuesday). Then I went to a store to pick up some Easter goodies and another lady in line asked when I was due. I said, "August," and she replied "Wow, I hope it's EARLY August!" Friends thought I finally looked pregnant and strangers think I look ready to pop. It's funny how different perspectives can be!

It's funny how many people feel the need to comment and their comments particularly on size seem to be all over.

This time I keep getting, "oh you're really small." I even got, "you don't even look pregnant" a few weeks ago from the lady cutting my hair. I think she meant it as some form of compliment?? But I'm just standing there thinking... I've gained over 20 pounds, haven't fit into my normal clothes for months and can't see my toes and this is how you think I normally look??????

Ugh, that's irritating! I don't know what compels ppl to make comments about your physical appearance when you are pregnant.

I will literally have one person say, "Wow, you are huge" and an hr later, someone else will say, "Wow, you look really small for being x wks." It all boils down to ppl having their own opinions, and that's just what they are opinions, not facts. Really, though I don't know why ppl insist on commenting on belly size in general, b/c you just never know how it will go over with the owner of the belly.

I had people say similar things to me. And it was annoying. Like I wanted to scream - what did you think, I am just getting fatter!

I had that happen yesterday. I think it depends on my mood at the time how I react. Yesterday, I was in an okay mood, so I just pointed out how short I am and how it all just goes 'out.' If I'm in a not so great mood, I just glare.

I need a shirt that says, "Yes, I know I'm big. No, it's not twins."
