i want to add some color to my bumpy wool cover. will kool-aid work?

Yes I used Kool Aid and they are so vibrant and it doesnt wash out. Here is an actual color chart that someone made with Kool Aid. So you can pick a color. See that here.. http://www.thepiper.com/fiberart/koo...chart-high.jpg

how many packets did you use? will three make it pretty vibrant? TIA!

i dyed it yesterday and it looks good. if i wanted the color a little bit deeper, could i dye it again?

Yes you can dye it again. I do this with yarn if I do not have a dark enough color. Sometimes after it dries it is lighter. Just follow the same routine you did the first time. HTH have fun

You can dye it again. I also find that the more concentrated I mix the koolaid the darker.....so if you want it darker just add more packets of koolaid.
