No contractions here, but a heavy, sore feeling in my cervix/vagina and wondering if the full moon is going to help us along....I really want to go into labor on my own, not be induced, but may need induction if we go past Sunday.

It happened! The spotting and achy back were definitely something. My little boy was born at 12:37 am on Monday, February 6th. Just about 9 or so hours after posting here before. 8 lbs 1 oz. :) He was born at home, unfortunately not in the water like his brothers...ran out of hot water and didn't get it filled warm enough to get in. But otherwise, everything went great!

Stalled out here for a bit but maybe things will pick up again tonight. Seems close - I wouldn't be surprised if it was tonight, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was still a day or two away.

I really need to stop posting here.....I'm gonna take up the whole thread.

Think I just lost a significant amount of my plug tonight....I say think because I never noticed it with DS, and wasn't really looking for it this time. I guess I still have a bit of waiting to do, I need to accept that fact! Its just so hard because I really thought this babe would come sooo close to their due date because I know with 99% certainty when he/she was conceived. Oh well. :) Thanks for letting me vent and speculate, I'm about to drive my husband bonkers.

Mean trick here:( Early yesterday eve I wasn't feeling well - just a little nauseated and low back dull pain. Lots of BHs and some cramping too. I took a bath w/DS at his bath time and finally started feeling a bit better. I was also so moody, I had DH go get food while I put DS down and after I finished he still hadn't left (almost 8!) and by then I was feeling like eating and ripped into him. Then when he called me from KFC (we NEVER eat fast food either but I couldn't think of anything else that sounded good!) to check what I wanted I yelled at him again and before I hung up demanded he go to the grocery store for dessert! (I was craving artificial bakery cookies-weird!). He got home with the wrong type of cookies and I actually made him go back for the right kind! I was soooo moody, lol!

I'm feeling fine now:( Hopefully it was my first signs, though, I remember just not feeling well the day before I had DS, so who knows?

I hope it's early signs yippie hippie.

I feel like this is a mean trick: been up since at least 4 with contractions. They've slowed down a lot as the mornings gone on but I'm famished and thirsty. Just eating and drinking a ton. And I'm maybe having 2-4 contractions an hour. The contractions are amazing and feel so progressive with head getting lower and seriously my upper stomach seems so flat suddenly but I can't hold my breath or get my hopes up too high. I've had today's date in my head as her bday for months so maybe it's psychological....

I do feel that so much of this is mental. I'm trying to relax and enjoy my last days alone with DS, can't believe it won't just be the two of us much longer! So we've been dancing and just hanging out enjoying each other (as much as possible anyway!). I also made up w/DH after a loooong fight on Sunday, so thought for sure that would do the trick, but nope, this babe just is too comfy in there! My MW said I'm so healthy (diet wise) that he prob doesn't want to go anywhere. I've been eating/craving junk lately, so take that, baby! OK, that's mean, I know he'll decide his birthday, not me, it's just so dang hard!

Gosh darn health nuts. I'm totally having spicy Chinese food and sex Saturday if she's not here and if she is, I'm having sushi. :)

I keep losing chunks of my plug after having my membranes stripped yesterday but other than that nothing is going on that I'm aware of. With my DS I went into labor within 24 hours of having my membranes stripped. It also came on out of nowhere-no warnign signs at all Once I started contracting he was here within 8 hours. I'm just not really sure what to expect with this one because everything is so different-its really messing with my head. I woke up with a nasty head cold and sore throat two days ago, and shave been sleeping in my spare time since then. I really hope things start pannign out for us all! Finger crossed!

Congratulations, NatureGirl! He's SOO beautiful!!

I had a mean trick last night.

Because of the full moon I thought it would be a good time to have a romp with DH and hoped that the two together would get labor going. Well, about half way through I started getting really uncomfortable and crampy. We stopped and went to bed. No spotting, but the crampy feeling kept going all night. I kept thinking "I need to sleep through as many of these as I can so I'm rested when I HAVE MY BABY TOMORROW!!" So, despite being super excited I was able to sleep through the night. When DH got up to go to work this morning I got up to walk around a bit and see if I could get things going a bit more so we had a good reason for him to stay home from work today. After about 30 minutes they were getting stronger and I was feeling it in my whole abdomen, so I was sure that it was early labor. It felt EXACTLY like my contractions with DS, so I was certain. I went to tell DH that he was going to be staying home today and then it hit me. I had to RUN to the bathroom and I had terrible diarrhea. Once that was over the cramping was gone, so that must have been it. I was SO disappointed! All I can think about tonight is how excited I was that I would be holding my baby by tonight. Then DH says "all your hopes got flushed away" lol.

Gah! I'm so ready now!
