Hey, Mamas! I've been wanting to check in with those in the same week span as I'm in, and figured I'd start a thread! Not sure if it's best to do just 7 days or 10 days, though? Any thoughts?

Is it me or is the fog beginning to lift a bit? I am still wiped out a lot, but my brain seems to be functioning at least a *little* better now than it did a few weeks ago. Still starving. All the time. But I'm working on dealing with that more effectively!

I am just glad to be feeling a little hope that 12 weeks isn't that far away! I'm due 10/3 so I'm 9.5 weeks now and hopefully things will keep looking up for a while!

So how are you early October mamas doing?

I'm happy to have made it this far, but 12 weeks seems so far away to me (9w 2d today). Sigh. I am still very tired with lots of indigestion. I am feeling hungrier, but then, I deal with burping, feeling like I ate bricks and just overall yuckiness. At least I'm not actually throwing up this time!

I'm due on the 11th and morning sickness really hit me hard this weekend. I basically laid on the sofa and moaned for 48 hours.

I'm hoping this sort of passes a bit. I wasn't prepared for the sick feeling at all because I never throw up (and still haven't, but it's getting darn close). I can't seem to find any "safe" foods and I'm now having a hard time with my vitamins, which I figure are important since I'm barely eating. I also have hypoglycemia, so that's been fun.

Sorry for the whine. Hope you all are doing really well.

I'm 9w1d today. I had a burst of energy on Sat, but other than that, I've been more fatigued. But ligament and joint stuff seems to be settling down, and my nausea is just as frequent, but less severe.

It's funny you posted this thread -- I remember thinking how big a difference there is between moms due at the beginning vs. the end of the month, and it would be nice to check in with women in the same week, not just the same month. I didn't post a thread, though, because I thought everyone else would think it was over the top. I guess I was wrong!

This isnt my week but I had posted a thread asking if people wanted to do this and was basically told that a due date is to hard to go by and they wanted to keep it the same. I am also a member of babycenter and I love the closeness I have with the mommies due around the same time but I can still talk to everyone. I hope this works better for you then it did for me.

I am due ~10/1, which makes me a leader of the pack. (not sure if I like that position, but there we are.)

Last week, I went to bed early - 2 nights around 6pm. Slept in as much as possible.

Last night, I was able to stay up to 12:45 to help DH with a work project. I'm a little tired this am, but ok. AND, my MS seems to be a lot better today. (Of course, this makes me nervous!)

Oops- I see I am one day off! Sorry! It's confusing, because if you go by my LMP, I'm due 10/09, but if you go by insem date, I'm 10/11.

I fit here - my edd is 10/5

Reality is settling in as my clothes (slacks) are just not fitting right today, I need to find some cute tops and slacks for work - our mall didn't have anything that fit right when I went this weekend - may be that we are right in between seasons? (winter stuff on deep clearance and spring/summer stuff not all out yet)

I am anxiously awaiting the 12 wk mark- I am so very tired of being tired ~yawn~ and my motivation badly needs to return! The nausea seems much worse when I am sleep deprived like today

I've felt that my belly is suddenly bigger in the last few days -- getting in the way when I bend over, etc.

I am due on October 5th.

I am so sick. Yuck yuck yuck. So looking forward to the end of this awful vomiting. I have lost about 15 pounds so far and hope to not lose much more. I am having a few waves of not being nauseous enough to actually throw up, so I think the light is at the end of this tunnel. come on 12 weeks.

I am 9w3d today. That means that I will be 10 weeks on Friday. wow. 25% of the way through. awesome. I am so looking forward to the second trimester.

Hello!

My EDD is the 10th. I have a miserable head cold type thing right now, miserable all weekend but it's making my preggo symptoms not seem as bad. I'm excited for the fog to lift and excited to feel like doing anything again!! Hopefully just another couple weeks!!

So glad to see other early October mamas! Maybe I did pick this up from my many days on Babycenter, too! I just liked having the ability to compare to those who are so close, because 3 weeks really is a huge difference at this point! Of course, I don't mean to completely segregate from everyone else, either. But sometimes there are things that are easier to look at in a small group.

I really am so surprised that I haven't been vomiting for weeks now. I mean I think I've thrown up ONCE and that was when I was silly enough to take my vitamin on a basically empty stomach and then go to bed! (Of course now I'm terrified to take them at all!) But with both of my boys I threw up for a loooong time - long past 12 weeks. So maybe this is a girl? Or maybe it's a matter of some meds I was on with the boys and am not on now? Though I'm pretty certain I need to be on them again.

Anyhow, glad I'm not crazy that there seems to be at least a little lifting of some of these most severe symptoms! I am eagerly awaiting needing to buy maternity clothes! Can't be too long, right?

I'm exhausted and nauseous - unlike with the first one. But, we had our first appt today and got to see the heartbeat on the ultrasound so that makes it all worthwhile. I'm due the 5th so I'm 9w3d.

I fit in here although I am probably a few weeks further along than most of you. I think a dr/mw would put my edd in late sept. but my gramma, mom, and myself are notorious for 42 + week pregnancies so I figured with this one I wouldn;t torture myself with a due date weeks before I would really have the baby.

So according to me I am due within the first 10 days of October and feeling wonderful! I was really sick with ds #1 but this time I have been doing tons of visualizations of me being so healthy and feeling great and honest to goodness I have. A little weird here and there...yes, but sick no!

I hope everyone starts feeling better soon. We are just around the corner from that feel good second trimester!

I go in for a sono tomorrow for an exact due date but I am guessing 9/30-10/07 somewhere.

I have hardly any "morning sickness" I am tired ALL.THE.TIME, and i have gagged a few times, but not much to talk about. Boobs are pretty sore at some times.

I am very nervous about tomorrow due to my minimal symptoms

I'm due 10/01 and still really worried about everything. I have my 2nd OB appt. this Thursday and hope that it will relax me and help convince me that everything is still ok.

I'm 10 weeks exactly today and I'm SO tired. I've had some fading symptoms the last couple of weeks, but they keep coming back with a vengance. I was sick, tired, and THIRSTY today. Plus I've been STARVING lately. I hate food, but can't seem to eat enough.

I'm up 5 lbs and feel fat and totally unattractive. It looks like I'm not going to be one of the lucky ones with the pregnant glow...I've got the not quite so cute pregnant acne. It's so strange because I've always had almost perfect skin.

Here's hoping the next trimester brings more energy, an apetite, better skin, and a belly that looks pregnant, not just chubby. COME ON WEEK 12!!!!

I really wish, considering so many people had posted and made it quite clear that they were not interested in the divided-up due date threads, that this thread was not started. It reminds me way to much of Baby Center

I've never been to babycentre, so I wouldn't know, but don't they also have due date clubs divided up by the month you're due? Like we have here? Why is that not a problem, but a weekly thread is?
