Hi everyone, I am 4 weeks pregnant, just found out really. Expected my period 4 days ago and today I had some blood tinged mucus but otherwise no noticable blood. Would this be considered implantation? It seems like that would have happened already since conception was 2 1/2 weeks ago. Should I be concerned?

I had the same thing when I was pregnant with my first. I considered it to be implantation bleeding, since it was just a little pinkish/reddish mucous. I really wouldn't worry about it at all.

Thanks! I feel fine otherwise but its so hard not to worry about every little twinge in the beginning! This is my second pregnancy but the first was 3 years ago and I'm fuzzy on the details at this point!

Happened to me on and off for a month or two with my daughter! I think I got pregnant with her around September 1, and was still experiencing periodic spotting around the middle of October. She's 2 1/2 years old now. Try not to worry!

that happened to me during this pregnancy (I'm 23 weeks, first pregnancy) and I freaked out! every little thing scared me in the beginning. But my midwife said not to worry- this is most likely old blood from a previous period, or left over impantation bleeding or it can be caused by sex (but that having sex is fine and dandy- just may cause a bit of bleeding at first)

Congratulations!

I had a little spotting like this at 4 weeks and 8 weeks (when af would have come if I hadn't been pg) without any problems. Don't think it is too uncommon.

Congratulations!
