Last night my Mom confirmed what I feared to be true, DS has a toothe bud. For the passed month he has been drooling like a St. Benard and eating his hands all the time. Even though, from what I have read, those arent "true" signs, I think it is a "warning!" DS just turned 3 months and I am wondering if there are Momma's out there who have early teethers? Right now, all you can see is a white speck on his gum...do you know how long before the toothe comes in? This business of being a 1st time Mom is hard work...but soo worth it. Any suggestions or comments are welcomed, I need some help!

My 11 month old is working on her 10th tooth right now! She had 8 by the time she was 7-8 months old. I feel for you - at least it's over earlier for us though.

Cold, wet washclothes helped and the bead necklace type teething rings. There's also something called an Angelwing toothbrush that was suggested to us, but I never found one locally.

Good luck with it and hang in there!

My daughter stated teething arounf 2-3 months. But her first tooth didnt come in until around 4 months. She is 10 months now and as 3 1/2 teeth.

It can take forever to see the whole tooth once it had presented itself. At least that is what I have experienced.

I also found the bead necklace like ring to work very well, I would pop it in the fridge and dd would love it cooled down. The best thing I have found are natural teething tablets. I can only find them at Walgreens, they are tiny little tablets that dissolve instantly. They are all natural so they do not effect the baby. It does relieve pain so you child may become sleepy, thats just from the relief of pain. They are great!!!!!!

My ds cut the first 2 teeth at 3 months exactly, and then cut 4 at once two weeks ago. He is currently almost 6 months old. My dd did this too. It's miserable in the beginning, but you will be happy when it ends early too!
