Hello!

I have a few diapers that need to have snaps removed and I am at a loss as to how to 'gently' pry them off without damaging the fabric.

Anyone have a nifty method or tool they would suggest to do this?

They are the size 20 polyresin snaps like you get on Fuzzi Bunz and such.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks, that does help!

I have a soldering iron around here somewhere
I do know where the drill is though, and it might be safer for me to use.
hehe..Not too familiar with the soldering iron!

Thanks again,

Heather

My favorite way is to turn the snap sideways and press it in the snap press. Sometimes I have to press several times in different directions. I've had the fabric rip using a drill to drill it out, though I know others have not had a problem.

OH, thank you for ALL the wonderful ideas! I was ready to try the hammer on concrete method yesterday after the little one poured raspberry tea all over my sewing notes and instruction manual!! That was a pain to dry and I need to reprint most of my other notes...
/grrr

Today I think I'll try needle nose pliers (have several of those handy) and then the snap press (less pressure needed on my part), then move on to the power tools if needed
hehe

/hugs and thanks again!
