I bought some red satin that was on sale and was thinking of making the girls matching skirts this year. Any ideas for an easy skirt or dress pattern? Thanks!!

if you know how to trace a pattern from their clothing that would help.

there are tons of tutorial for it online..i myself made my DD a twirly skirt a few days ago. i had a piece of remnant 12" X 44". sew the selvadge side, add a little ruffle, did a casing for the elastic..voila, a twirly skirt.
