I have such a silly question, and am too lazy to look it up.

Do you have to brush your babe's teeth, once they start eating solids. Now I'm assuming breastfeeding will clean them up. **And don't worry I know, not brushing them with toothpaste. Just curious if needed with plain water?

I've read that you start brushing when they get teeth. My ds#2 has two teeth, and we brush sporadically right now. However, this needs to change because we were lax with ds#1, and didn't establish the habit early enough IMHO. Now, it is a real pain to get his teeth brushed each night. When I do brush ds#2's teeth, he just giggles. Good luck!

(DS#1 (2.5yo) uses toothpaste, DS#2 (8mo) just gets water and the brush.)
