Well, my DS who is 3 months refuses bottles whenever offered. I work from home, but have to pop into the office for a few hours a week. My mom watches him and I usually am able to run home to nurse him. Well, the times that couldn't happen and he was offered a bottle it went terribly. I ended up having to rush home to a crying baby.

I thought in the store the other day about trying a soft spout sippy cup (Nuby makes a great one that is cheap!) so I bought one on a whim. He tried it today and LOVED it. He figured it out fast and drank the milk right up!

I just thought I would post this in hopes that another mama who's babe refuses a bottle might try out a sippy. 3 months seemed early to me too, but he had the hang of it within a minute or two.

I got the sippy at Walmart, yes. The nice thing about the sippy cups is that they are WAY cheaper than bottles too. The cup was $1.47 as opposed to the $5 most nicer bottles are.

I was never a big Walmart person until having a child...now I must admit the cheap prices on things like this are alluring.

I tried one of those too when DD was younger-she really liked it.

I used to work only Saturdays and sometimes she wouldn't eat while I was gone! It was horrible!! Glad you found something that worked for you!

We would sometimes make BM ice pops/cubes or slushes and spoon feed her! That is how desperate we were!!

I will have to get one of these, my dd will take a bottle with little problems but i would prefer a sippy to a bottle, my ds went from boob to sippy as aposted to dd who went booby-bottle-sippy... skipping the middle step is so much easier
