Hi have been using cueing signals to my two month old bub since she was born and in the first month gave her lots of nappy free time so that I could observe any communication on her behalf (I didnt notice anything in particular). For the past month, however, my bub will not sleep during the day unless I am wearing her. I have a Mayan wrap but I have not been able to use this for prolonged periods of time due to neck and back pain so have instead been using an ergo carrier. I have continued to cue bub whenever I take off her nappy or after a bath (havent had any success yet!). Now because she spends most of her day in the ergo carrier I am not able to give her much nappy free time so am at a bit of a loss as to how go forward with EC. I'm figuring that if carrying her keeps her happy, I'll do so ....but need to look after my neck and back too ...and that sometime soon she'll be more content to kick back on her bouncer etc. In interim, any advice on EC? ie she needs to wear a nappy in the ergo carrier! Thanks

When I have dd2 in the sling, I put a prefold on without the cover and take her out to pee every so often. She usually pees every 45min.

There are a lot of babes that wont pee while being worn. I can wear Silas diaper free for hours and he wont pee on me. I think he has peed 2 times, and both times I was ignoring his cues (accidentally of course!)
He is much more willing to pee on me when I am not wearing him

Maybe just try it out and see how it goes? The idea about putting down a pre fold under the babe is a good one.

Good Luck Mama!!
