I've been staring at that fabric for the last two days. I don't think it will work as a cover, since it is *meant* to wick. I really want to buy a couple of yards and play with it though.

I saw that, too, I was thinking maybe it had too much polyester? It looks like polyester is a higher percentage than wool, but there aren't any numbers. Fabricline has some great prices, though, so it wouldn't hurt to try some and maybe luck out with something that works great.

I wouldn't think it would work as a cover/outer, as it is supposed to wick.

Maybe as an inner wicking layer, similar to suedecloth or microfleece?

for some reason i could have sworn it said it was waterproof


but it does look really nice and soft looking
