For you eczema experts out there, what's the range of time between a trigger and an outbreak, if the eczema is food related?

We eliminated cow dairy and noticed a huge improvement in my dh's eczema. Last Sunday at a big family gathering he splurged and had both wheat and cow dairy, and no outbreak until a week later. That seems to far apart to be connected! But if that wasn't it, we're not sure what the trigger was...so perhaps it was just the ebb and flow of the outbreaks that that seems to happen sometimes.

Thanks!

Yes in our case it was far apart like that once DS cleared for a long time (gave his digestive system a chance to heal and rebulid). But it was the day after challenging when he was experiencing a number of insults within a short period of time.
