We're trying to find a middle name for Isabel. Her last name is 3 letters and starts with L, so most L names are out, and we're looking for something with 1 or 2 syllables. Any ideas? For some reason, the only name I like is Isabel Erin, even though I never would have thought of Erin before I became pregnant. Then someone suggested Isabel Chayse, but I don't know...
Then there's my maiden name, which I'm not all that fond of, and it would go better with a boy's name, but I like the idea of giving her my old last name...

Any suggestions? Anyone?

:LOL

Hey, maybe you could clear up what Erin means. I read that it means Ireland, and then I've also read that it means Peace. Do you know? I guess it's probably both...I really like that it might mean peace.

We don't have a middle name either. If it is a girl, the first name will be Jessie. Not sure what the name will be for a boy, but I wanted to use my uncle's name for a middle name. Any names that go with Jessie? Molly has an alliterative name, Molly Melinda, so I'm thinking of doing the same thing with this baby, but there aren't a lot of good J choices. My husband likes Jordan, but Jessie Jordan sounds too cutesy. Plus it calls to mind the song from Carousel "You're a queer one, Julie Jordan..."

I love that my dd has a middle name that rhymes with things. Her names is Onica Sioux (pronounced "sue") and we sing lots of songs to her with it. Our favorite is the Winnie the Pooh song with her name subbed in. "It's Onica Sioux, Onica Sioux, huggy little cuddley little baby all..." It's really fun. Maybe that helps?

Jessie Jeanine sounds pretty good.

Isabel Marie (partial to that one, it's my middle name.)

Isabel Erin is good, or you could use an alternative spelling, Isabel Aryn looks good to me.

Isabel Anne
Isabel Mabon
Isabel Diane
Isabel Faith
Isabel Isis
Isabel Jade--I like that one.
Isabel Kate
Isabel May
Isabel Autumn
Isabel Peace
Isabel Queen
Isabel Precious
Isabel Renee
Isabel Rae
Isabel Sue
Isabel Victoria (I know, you said only two syllables... but I like the way it sounds.)
