Are there any?

Our entire yard is in shade or at most partial sun. Is there anything edible I can plant down there? I'm sick of being restricted to planting in pots on the porch just so the plants get enough sun, but nothing I can really do about the shade situation.

Lettuce might do well, particularly cold weather varieties.
Ground tubers like potatoes do well in shade too. Cant go past potatoes.

Currents and gooseberries do fine in the shade.

There are some edible weeds that do well in the shade. Chickweed, purslane, dandelion greens, ramps, violets. They may take a bit getting used to, but they are tasty and nutritious!
