the title says it all! LOL I had my DDs party this weekend and we had tons of babies here. Well I have no real problem with disposables we just dont use them but apparently since I have no "disposable" diaper pail in my DDs room someone threw a very heavy sposie in my bathroom garbage can(no big deal) well I guess my Dog has never seen this before and tried to eat it <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/irked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="irked">: I have crystals EVERYWHERE!!!!

YUCK!!!!<br><br>
This wouldn't by any chance be a lab, would it?? Just an instinctual guess. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/irked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="irked">:<br><br>
I have heard many times of dogs eating it if the DC goes on the floor... if that happened to me, I wouldn't know whether to be disgusted and yak or happy not to have to clean it up (or both).

My dog ate several sposies in his lifetime. Luckily he always did it outside though (he was a master at opening the trash can <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/eyesroll.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="roll"> ) so I didn't have the gel mess indoors. It was still pretty gross though, especially since he always liked the poopy ones. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/grossedout.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="gross"> Yuck. It can't be good for them but it doesn't seem to hurt them either... <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/shrug.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="shrug">:

Oh, poor doggie! If I set DD's wet diaper next to me while I put on her clean diaper, my cats will come up, sniff it, and paw at it as if they're trying to cover it up w/ litter. :LOL But I guess I'm lucky they don't try to eat it!

Our dog ate a few of our cloths when my boys were little. Shredded the dipes, funny now, gross at the time.<br>
One reason they do it is for the nutrients ( according to a friend of mine who is a vet<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br>

GROSS!!!<br><br>
A word of warning though so some who may not know... Sposies can be fatal to some dogs, puppies, especially. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad">
