So for a long time I haven't been able to eat anything. Finally, I am able to eat again and all I can/ want to eat is egg burritos. I eat one for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is nuts!!! I went through a dozen eggs and a jar of traders joes green salsa in 5 days!! .

Anyone else having crazy food obsessions??

I dunno, that sounds pretty healthy to me... You get some really good protein from the eggs, veg from the salsa and lots of vitamin C from the cranberry juice! And really, if you haven't been eating much then easy-to-digest food like eggs is probably exactly what your body needs to get back in the groove.

I haven't had anything as specific as you, but woe betide the person who gets in my way when I'm hungry. My appetite amazes me - I thought I wouldn't be ravenous until I was further along. Shows what I know!

For a very long time I was only able to eat and keep down an egg and sausage... sometimes in buritto form sometimes in sandwich form. I wouldn't worry about it the Brewer diet actually recommends 2 eggs a day as a minimum. So you are ahead of the curve

I am glad I could inspire some egg burrito making. Now if I could just get inspired to eat something different. Oh well, like you ladies said I guess at least it is healthy. I am just waiting for the day I wake up and don't want to look at another egg again. Aparently that is not today

Its so funny how different pregnancies can be. With my daughter I was the same as you hungry all the time. I gained 40 pounds! I wanted a wide variety of foods. With this baby its the exact opposite!

Yeah, wrapping things in a whole wheat tortilla has been a saving grace for me. I eat salads that way (with mayo and cheese, usually). Otherwise, can't eat raw veggies except for carrots and celery.

It's all getting better now that I'm 12-ish weeks. But, yeah, what a trip!

With DS all I wanted was potatoes and creamy substance food choices (cheesy things, etc.). With this pregnancy the thought of eating potato soup sends me running to the toilet to puke! All I want is tomato, salsa, vinegar, etc. ~ which is so funny because the one thing I threw up the most in the beginning with DS was SALSA to the point I thought I would never eat it again!

Even though I am sick again with this one ~ it is kind of a different kind of sick...I am puney all the time and throw up bile. With DS I threw up actual meals! ARGH...just ready to have this baby in my arms and be done with being pregnant!

yum burritos... I read a blog post about cooking refried beans with the cheese and it melts in and gets all creamy and SO GOOD! I tried it and now I want to eat it all the time. Eggs would be a good addition to this.

I've craved the exact same sandwich every day all week. I eat mine with vegan cheese, but it's all about the avocado, really. It always is for me!

And the EGGS...I've been mostly vegan for a few years and have always been a little grossed out by eggs. But at 9:00 the other night, in the middle of an icy blizzard with 50mph gusts of wind, I HAD to have an egg sandwich. The grocery store is about 6 blocks from here. I put the kids to bed, told my sick DF I was going, cleaned off the car and drove/slid to the store for eggs and hot sauce. I usually have to be dragged out of the house once it gets below 50, but when cravings call, I'm helpless. It came after a week of moving, taking care of a sick/injured DF (washing machine fell on him and messed his neck up!!) and throwing a birthday party for DD, so I ate a lot of take out and pasta. I knew I needed more protein, but I didn't know it was an emergency until my body took over and threw me out into the snow to go get some! lol!
