I guess they could if they really wanted to, but isn't that scalloped stitching quite distinctive?
That recent batch on EBay really went for quite a lot... much much more than they are going for new direct from Laura... then again they're impossible to get new RIGHT NOW so maybe that's why the huge premium on them.
