Does anyone have one? What do you think?

My dh just came home with a Homelite electric mower and its on the charger now. DH thinks our yard is too big for a reel mower so he bought this instead. I can't find any reviews on this particular one... just wondering if anyone has had experience with electric lawn mowers. Oh, and this one is cordless.

Also, I have been finding a lot of cities that offer discount programs for buying electric mowers. Wish mine did!

UGH! I hated mine! It was one that needed a cord, and it was a living nightmare. After a year of THAT, I thought, "Screw the enviroment" And bought a gas mower.

BUT, I had a big yard, playground equipment, and three trees to get around while dragging a cord.

IF it was a rechargeable, I probably would have loved it.

We have a corded one and like it. If I had the $$ I'd want a cordless. If you have a lot of stuff to go around (as nextcommercial mentions....) the cord is a PITA. Our yard is pretty straight forward.

we have a corded electric mower & i think it just takes some getting used to. i always say that it feels like vacuuming the lawn! we have a fairly big yard, too, with trees & play equipment but it's not that big of a deal. like i said, it's what you're used to. kinda like cloth diapering, ya know? once you do it, it's not that big of a deal. very cool that yours is cordless! i'm sure it'll work great!

We have a corded one (Black and Decker) and we really like it. Ok, dh likes it (he does all the mowing ). I think it does take some getting used to, though.

Another yeah to this. We love ours. It's so quiet that we can listen to the i pod when we mow and it's so much better for the environment. I never want a gas mower- they're so stinky and loud. Yuck!

I LOVE my electric mower. It's light to push, it's quiet, and you just press the button and it starts. I have the kind with long cords and yes, I had to figure out a system but once I figured it out it was not a problem. They're GREAT!!
