I was wondering if anyone has experience with electric water softeners. Our water is so hard we take gravel showers.
Our 16 mo DD has very dry skin and we noticed it improved when we were in the US for two weeks in a soft water area, so we're thinking the water is def a factor. And her nappies and clothes are downright crunchy. It's horrible. Everything is so lovely, soft and squishy when new and then in a few weeks trousers can stand up on their own.
The chemical water softeners are pricey, big and...well, salty. We'd rather not go that route and the electric ones, if they work, might be the answer. Has anyone used one with good (or poor) results?
Grateful for any thoughts.
