Here is the link for the product I am talking about:

http://www.victorpest.com/mousesonicfaqs.htm

A few days ago, dh and I were watching TV at night and we saw a mouse in our house. It was brazenly running across our living room floor. We haven't seen him/her since, but it totally freaked me out. Totally. I have major rodent-phobia. I HATE mice. It seriously gives me anxiety. Anyway, dead mice freak me out as much as live mice do. We won't do poison at all, and traps freak me out. So, I thought about trying those things mentioned aboce. Actually, I already ordered it..but am now wondering if they are safe. Could those high-frequency ultrasonic waves hurt us, if we are in the same room as them and exposed to them? I am thinking about just returning it, and trying traps despite the fact that majorly freaks me out.

BTW, by all evidence we only have one mouse. We haven't seen any mouse droppings around or evidence they are in our food, and 2 nights ago I sprinkled Borax (heard it repelled mice) around the walls. It didn't repel him/her as the next morning I saw a few mouse footprints in the Borax, however it does seem to be just one mouse..for now. However, I don't want him/her inviting all the little mouse friends in, and I kinda think our mouse may be a pregnant female as she looked sorta fat (but who knows???) Maybe it is just fat from eating all the crumbs and things off our floor. Anyway, I want to get rid of it ASAP.

Anyway, my question is, do you think the electronic Pest Chaser is safe for humans...or maybe questionable?? Opionions please.
