I just got a call from my DS's ped. His blood test (taken at his 15 month well child visit) just came back w/ elevated levels of lead. I am shocked. None of the risk factors apply to us. He will have to have his blood drawn again in 2 weeks. Anyone else been through this?

Absolutely. My daughter was 14 months old when her blood lead level came back at a 47. She had to be admitted to the hospital and begin chelation therapy that day. There's a whole thread of mamas who've had experience with elevated lead levels here. Warning--it's a really long thread!
