In reading Cutie Patootie's post, and having some of the same anxiety, I thought it might be helpful for us to see what others are experiencing around this same time of gestation...

ETA: OK, I forgot to allow multiple choices, and I KNOW we are feeling some multiple choices, so I'm PMing the moderator for some help with that!

Whew! I was ready to click on most of those, but it wouldn't let me!

I have:
1. Nausea/vomiting (still severe enough to disrupt the normal pattern of my life)
2. Emotional issues (cry about everything, anxiety, sick of being sick, scared to go back to work, etc)
3. Back pain/sciatica
4. Indigestion
5. Shortness of breath/lightheadedness (I thought maybe my hemoglobin & hematocrit were low, but they're only borderline)
6. Fatigue
7. Strong food aversions make it difficult to find things to eat & drink.

I'm twelve weeks and waiting to feel baby movements to remind me that this is all worth it. Heard the heartbeat the other day and that was cool, but I just need a little more encouragement from this baby!

Well...I just told DH yesterday that things are better! and they are...mostly I have more energy, and not as much nausea...although I still don't want to eat certain foods (like MEAT - YUCK!). But...I am getting some things done around the house...and that was not happening just last week! LOL.

I am around 11 weeks.

For what it is worth. With pregnancy #2 - I was very sick until around 16 weeks...with pregnancy #1 - I had no symptoms at all! Crazy....

Mostly nausea, fatigue, and appetite changes. Lots of fatigue. I'm almost 11 weeks, and the nausea seems to be letting up a little.

The only 2 I don't have are the spotting and the weight gain! LOL. I can only feel the baby when I am leaning forward and there is pressure on my uterus, which is tilted forward. I've felt flutters 3 times now. The nausea is getting better, but I still feel queasy at different times....I just wish I could have some energy back!

I need an "all of the above" button!
I guess it depends on the day. I was more nauseas than ever last week. This week I have a cold, so it's hard to tell what's baby-related and what's cold-related. I've been eating so poorly because of my ridiculous food aversions. The only thing I can count on wanting to eat is tater tots. That ain't cool! That's probably why I'm feeling huge and bloated like a big, fat cow. moo.

I'm feeling more than just one of those. Still nauseated...threw up this morning. Fatigue, dizziness, back pain (but only if I don't drink enough water). I'm the one that selected feeling the baby's movements. I know I'm not the only that has this early and earlier, but no one had selected it yet...

oh yea, and I"m starting to get those bursts of energy. It's great because I'm trying to pack.

Emotional ups and downs - yes, I feel so bad for my three year old I keep getting upset about little things but don't realize until he starts talking very quiet and slow like his father does when he's in trouble, lol.

Fatigue - I don't feel like doing anything. This is defiantly the hardest time in pregnancy for me.

Flutters/baby movement!!! - I'm surprised at how much movement I feel but then again I keep second guessing it, could that have been the baby or just gas?!?!

Change in appetite - Somedays I'm not very hungry at all and other's I'm ravenous and feel like a crazy person until I fulfill my craving for what ever it maybe (usually red meat or coconut juice)

Other (specify in post) - I feel huge! I have had strangers notice I'm pregnant while not even wearing maternity clothes and when I was not yet 9 wks! I was shocked. I don't have people make that mistake when I'm not pregnant either. My first baby I could hide it until 5 months, by second there was no hiding after 14wks. Why hide? I have family that is very negative and I like to keep it to myself as long as possible.

I've been having a lack of appetite, but I'm thinking that is due more to the stress in life involving my older daughter than the pregnancy. I seem to be nauseated still all the time, but no vomiting for almost 3 weeks!

I have pretty much all of the things listed, except spotting.

Ugh, I still feel miserable and I will be 12 weeks tomorrow. I hope most of the nausea/vomiting/fatigue/bloating/food aversions will be gone in another week. Seems like I started feeling better about that time with my other pregnancies.

I have felt the baby "kick" a couple times. It is very distinct, but I don't feel it often. I guess it just has to be in the right spot.
