Entire Family Keeps Getting Sick - PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

NAK

For the last 4 months my entire family (26 mo, 9 mo, DH and I) keep getting sick. We are normally VERY healthy people. DH hasn't been sick for years and years until this year. With the exception of pregnancy I am never sick. My kids have either a runny nose/congestion or are throwing up every three weeks.

We eat pretty stinkin healthy.... I'm at a total loss here.

Right now my husband is majorly congested with it settling in his chest. My 9 mo is prejectile vomitting, running a low grade temp, and I'm doing my best to nurse often but all he wants to do is sleep.

I really need some help.....

I have to say, this statement made me laugh:

There is a LOT going around this year and all sort of things. Good thing you didn't get the flu vaccine (I hope), you'd only have wasted your money and compromised your immune system since there is plenty else to fight off.

For the projectile vomiting do nothing. Give NO food. Only nursing and maybe some water with honey and sea salt. If there is no vomiting for 24 hours, you can give a little dry toast and see if that stays down. If not, back to only nursing. It will end, I promise. We've already gone through it.

The link isn't working. I would love to read it, since my family's been nonstop sick for 6 weeks as well. My son was even hospitalized for 4 days with pneumonia!
LOL - Yes, I should have said morning sickness! I'm a HBer I promise!

I feel like I should write a book about the sicknesses we have had. My husband is so close to chucking all of my homepathic remedies out the window b/c we're all so sick. (He's very, very supportive we're just all exhausted from being so sick.)

We don't vax for anything - thank goodness! My youngest seems to get sick the most, but b/c he's still nursing 9-10 times a day is getting over it the fastest.

Like Pacifica said - the link isn't working - I would love to read it though! I hope your babies start feeling better Pacifica, and I'm so sorry to hear about your son - how heartbreaking!

What a great link Gitti - thank you for taking all of that time to post that!

Once the probiotic sits for a couple weeks are the peppers still hot?

Still too hot for my grandson (10 yo) but his mom (who loves spicy things) can't taste the heat.

I like it in small sips and I would say it is pretty hot still.

We were also getting so sick so I tried probiotics (not the recipe that Gitti provided). And we have been healthy with the exception of the kids. They did not take it as regularly as we did. But DH and I have managed to stay very healthy. HTH.
