Does the Ergo have any kind of a pocket that you could fit cell phone, keys, etc. into?

Yes it has a pocket in the front. I can fit my wallet and a spare stuffed pocket sipe in without a problem. I don't put my keys there though, too sharp against DD to my liking.

I don't put my keys in the pocket, either. I snap them onto one of several places with a carabiner or a snaphook.
