I'd definitely interview everyone. Get a feel for what is out there, what is available. You have a luxury in Eugene of being able to choose from so many midwives.

There are lots of midwives, and most have rates that are really flexible. If you have insurance, it is typically covered 70%.

Most midwives have the ability to work with people on what they can afford.
Anyway, we are all pretty flexible - it's one of the benefits of being autonomous!
