The title pretty much says it all. I'm not 100% sure af is coming, but I am having mild cramping, which usually happens right before. Af is due tomorrow, and the one bright spot is that my temp is still up - normally it would be down by now or at least well on its way down.

What do you guys think - is there still hope?

That's me, exactly. I felt totally normal, zero symptoms, expected AF any second. I took a test just to make DH be quiet, but he was right! I'll never live that one down!

For my first pregnancy, I thought I was having the worst PMS ever. I thought it was bad due to the fact that I had just gone off the pill. I kept carrying a tampon around with me for weeks. My bad pms, turned into the best little boy ever!

Yes, with DD, I carried pads around with me, and even spotted, I was sure I was starting, and then got a strong bfp!!!

also with this last bfp (chemical) I had the same experience. I was so surprised it was bfp. Good luck

with my dd I was sure AF was coming, all the same symptoms... I even started spotting like usual, then after a few days of that I took a pregnancy test and BFP!!! I had even told DH and my sis that AF had arrived and it was a no go for that month....

Yup, that was me with this pregnancy. I was super-hormonal - sad, mad at the world, felt crampy. I was wishing that my AF would just hurry up and get here so that the madness would stop....then, the day after I was supposed to get it, bam! BFP. I was pleasantly shocked.

Absolutely!!! With my first child my period was about a week late, and I was cramping like CRAZY for several days and I kept thinking, AF will be here any second. Then one day I was going to be out all day and I didnt want to be caught unexpected so I actually put a tampon in even though there was nothing yet. I was *that sure* AF was coming. When I took it out many hours later there was nothing on it. Then I decided it was all just too strange and took a test - BFP. I was *stunned*.
Good luck!

I have to raise my hand for this one. I was POSITIVE I was getting AF, totally 100%, even told DH that I could tell it hadn't worked and I was getting AF. I even had the most atrocious PMS EVER. I was a cranky, hormonal mess. He was getting pretty worried because of how volatile my personality was, like I needed medication or something. Then my AF was a day late, I'm never a day late(except when I was pg with DD and a fluky period when she was 9 months). Sure enough BFP, it was a very slight line, took one an hour later very dark line.

Here I now sit 14 wks pg, quite the AF....ha-ha.

Well, with my first ds, I was so sure that I was about to start AF and that I was having cramps that I almost took a midol.
At the last minute, I even had it in my hand, I decided the cramps weren't so bad yet and I would save it. And I put the midol back. A week or two later I got my bfp. I was SHOCKED!

Wow, thanks everyone - these stories are SUPER encouraging!! I wonder why a person would have menstrual cramps if they're preg? I mean, the lining should obviously not be preparing to shed, and I thought the cramps were due to the uterus contracting to get the lining out! Hmmmm......just a curiosity. If I get a bfp soon I won't give a rat's behind about the "why."

kparker, good luck to you, too! Hope there are bfp's in the next couple days for both of us!

in another thread granola mum (or uh.. .however she spells her name) just got a confirmation from her doctor that she is, indeed, pregnant... despite having thought she had AF just a few days ago!

She had gotten 5 positive opks in a row, which confused her... someone suggested she try an hpt and it was pos too XD

Not to get your hopes up or anything >.>

but she's proof to me that it's not over til it's really over.
