Let's say you had sex on cycle day 40 and on cycle day 42 you notice a lot of ewcm. Would the sperm deposited on CD 40 be able to hang on until CD42 or would you want to put a fresh supply in there on the day you see the EWCM?
My question is really, is there a high likihood of getting pregnant if you had sex 2 days before you see EWCM? I know sperm can live 3-5 days, but is that only when they go in with the EWCM or can they go in in there 2 days before and still have 1-3 days left to get to their destination?
