Egad, my poor kids. Ex-H and I divorced 10 years ago, when DS was 3 1/2 and DD was 1 1/2. I remarried 3 years later; their dad remarried 4 years after that, but with a long-term, live-in relationship in the interim 7 years. With my second marriage, they got a new step-brother and a half-brother (their SM had no kids); they have a half-brother with their dad who is much older than they are (and who they've only seen once). And now their dad is divorcing again.

Sheesh, how much drama can two kids manage to tolerate? Their dad just told them about the divorce this afternoon and I can tell they're both in shock. I think DS will be OK, but DD will probably have a hard time. Sigh. :
