So my past history dictates that on average I go about a week after my due date (it has range from 6-13 days after though!). I have been following the 'golden birthing stool' thread in April with many chuckles and loving interest!!

Anyone else planning on a late babe??

The best part is getting the 'when are you due?' questions and watching their eyes pop out when you say '6 days ago'...or '10 days ago' or 'last week'.

While I admit I'm a little jealous of the teeny tiny adorable babies...I do love my sturdy, squishy 9 lb'ers!!

haha, I love a "squishy" baby too! While I have never gone past due, they have all come 5 days-1week early, but I have a strange feeling that my 4th
(and final) baby will come late...I hope not, but I have felt that way since the start of my pregnancy. And I'm already tired of people asking how much longer and I say a little over 6 weeks, and their eyes get huge as they look at my belly and then "wow, do you think you'll make it that long" "I'm only 5 feet tall and I have big babies....where the %$#@ else am I suppose to put this baby"

I don't tell people when I'm due just to avoid those comments. I just say "soon" even if I'm past my EDD.

really don't know. My one totally spontaneous labor was on her EDD. Everyone else has been induced/encouraged anywhere from 37w-42+. I just lost a hunk of my mucus plug this afternoon (33w3d) but I've lost started losing it this early before and still gone past EDD. This pregnancy has been SO different though that I wouldn't be surprised to see me go on my own before my EDD just because.

Induced at 42 weeks with DD.

Despite being on bed rest the past 3 weeks for preterm labor, I STILL think this little boy is going to be late

Once I hit 37 weeks, though, I am OFF bedrest and my meds. MAYBE I'll get to have a baby close to my due date and know what its like to go into labor spontaneously!

My DD came at 41w+5d. My instinct says this one will be later than my EDD as well. When people ask what my due date is I have just been saying "late June" and leaving it at that. The hard part is when they ask how far along I am so they can do the math in their head.

I just really do not want all the calls and emails every.single.day. sometimes multiple times a day that I got last time for almost two weeks! Not to mention all the "wonderful" advice on how to get the baby out...
