Help! I have no idea how to read them. My baby was born 8 lbs 2 oz and has been sloooow to gain weight. I had to supplement with formula to get her to gain above her birth weight and it took 3 weeks. She is now 10.00.8 lbs at a little over 8 weeks. I haven't been giving formula for 2 weeks and really, really don't want to. But how off are we according to growth charts?

This is a real bummer. I am pumping, domperidone, fenugreek.... but she seems happy, lots of poopy/peepee diapers and isn't overly fussy. Please tell me I don't have to supplement. Maybe wake her up at night if she sleeps beyond 4 hours?

If your baby is having plenty of wet and dirty diaper and meeting develpmental milestones I don't think you have anything to worry about. There are always babies in the lower percentiles. It is an okay thing! Are you and/or your husband smaller people? How about other family members?

Are you making sure that she is getting hindmilk? You may be overproducing and she is getting more foremilk. You can try block feeding (using the same breast for mulitiple feedings) to make sure she is getting hindmilk.
