My ds is wanting to write his name. I've been writing it out and having him copy it that way. I guess I am afraid that I will go about it wrong-I want to teach him the *right* way to practice his letters. I suppose my fear comes from the fact that I've only taught a dd to write-not a ds!!
He actually put down his balls todat to paint for over an hour!!!

TIA!!

I bought it, my kids have used it a little bit. But it wasn't a huge hit. I made the letter pieces out of craft foam, and my kids LLOOOVVVEEDD to play with those. Although the book was okay, my kids lost interest in it pretty quickly.

At this point, we're not using a formal handwriting curriculum. I just sit down and work with my preschoolers/kindergardeners on handwriting using a lined handwriting tablet I got at Target. I have them practice their names, the alphabet, numbers, their phone number, their address, etc. And we use ETC for phonics, which provides LOTS of opportunities to practice handwriting.
