I bought a dozen of these on ebay for next to nothing ($17) and I was wondering if anyone has expermented with these and sewed elastic in them? I am thinking of doing a couple just to see if it will work. I will use pins to keep them together but does anyone think this will work? They are the small contour so i plan on using them on a newborn and small baby.

I had one (gave it to a friend) but I sewed elastic on the underside to help keep in the BFbaby poo. For us that made a big difference. Also I didn't secure it if i used a front closing cover. But pins work for side snapping covers.

never have added elastic to em. but i do have lotts of the contours (too many, i am looking to sell a few) and I LOVE Them! I used these on my EBF 6 month old without leaks!! But I did use a cover with leg gussets (Bumpy) And I have had poo leak to the cover but never so bad as that it leaked out of the cover too!

I use pins to go coverless, or a side snap and for pullon covers.

otherwize they get layed in a front aplix wrap cover like a bumpy or a polarbabies.

If you think that adding elastic will suit your needs better, good luck!!
