Hi Everyone,

I'm on another list about Inclusivity in the homeschooling community. It's a new list, and people are going on and on about how difficult it is to have a homeschooling list which includes unschoolers, homeschoolers, charter school homeschoolers, public ISP homeschoolers, Christian homeschoolers, etc. the whole point of the list is "Can't we all just get along?"

I keep thinking - but we have just that at MDC, and everyone is respectful, and civil, and we all share and learn from each other. It's great! (I don't want to tell them about this message board, though, because I'm selfish and I want to keep this one kind and compassionate and inclusive!).

So, I just wanted to express my appreciation for all of you inclusive, honest, open, opinionated, compassionate homeschooling mamas!

Love,
Laura

I've gotta chime in too! I'm in tears here from all the sweet responses to my stupid-curriculum-search woes thread and feel NOTHING but support from each of you. Man, I needed this group last year when I started this big adventure! (Kindergarten with my oldest)

Thanks, mamas! Let's always keep it kind and supportive!

Gotta ask - what does your user name mean? You can PM me. I get the "7+" part!

ekblad is my last name. There's 7 of us in the family and 1 on the way!
