Extremely sore boobs

Ok - so my boobs have been so sore - like if I hug people I want to scream because my boobs hurt so much with the pressure of another body on them

I have done a self breast exam and not found any lumps, perse, but on my left boo under the nipple there is a really extra bas sore place.

I got a mammogram about three weeks ago - this was about two months into when the pain began - and they found ZILCH in terms of a mass or tissue abnormality. so why do my boobs feel hard as rock when I hug people?

Anyone have this happen? It doesn't go up or down with periods - just hurts all the time - about three months now.

Could it be Fibrocystic Breast Disease?

I think I have the same this and am cutting out caffeine and taking Evening Primrose Oil plus consulting with my homeopath too. Anyhow just a suggestion. I know it can be cyclical with the period but not always...

Wow thanks for that. I hope I am not premenopausal just yet - though I suppose it's certainly quite possible at 40.

Man I am so addicted to my dark, thick French coffee every morning. NO pill though and no hormones in my food.

I don't have lumps at all according the mamo... however I do have severe pain. When I wear my super bra it seems a lot worse when I take off the bra at the end of the day...

I think I need to head off to the gyno at this point - ask for some of that cream and figure out a way to get through kicking coffee. I shudder to even think of that...

My bra was causing me a lot of breast pain, too. When I started wearing a bra that's not as "super," (less rigid, less "tight,") the pain lessened, as well.

the only time i've had pain like that is when I was pg. The odd time around ovulation though not that severe.

The sorer spot under the nipple could be a blocked duct, you can get them yeasr after you're done nursing.
