Our dryer was my SILs before and she used softener sheets. We did for a couple years as well (before CD). I recently discovered that sometimes DH is still using them. While it wasn't a big deal up to this point as I was line drying our CDs, I am wondering what to do. We have a new baby on the way and I know we will be drying diapes now. How do I get the residue out of the dryer?

If it's fairly occasional use, I don't think you'll have too much of a problem. You can always dry a load or two of towels, sheets, etc without a dryer sheet to help get any residue off of the dryer itself. But you may not even have to worry about it.

That is good news. I was imagining being on my hands and knees scrubbing the inside of the dryer! yikes!
