I am pregnant with my first baby, who is due in November. Can any of you recommend a good pediatrician in the Fairfield County, CT, area? Also, do any of you know of fun playgroups in the area? Has an MDC playgroup been started in Fairfield County?

i second trumbull peds.we just joined for my third child,oliver who is 10 days old.i told dr rappaport that i didn't want to vax straight away and that i delay vax and she was very understanding and didn't try to scare tactic me!!it's taken me 16mths to find them,i have been schlepping back to westchester,NY everytime for the other two .

There is a Waldorf Early childhood intitive in Greenwich. Something Willow, PM me if you want more info and I will get the exact web link for you. You can get some good recommendations from parents in that group b/c Waldorf generally poo poos vac.

Hey Natasha,
So Trumbull is okay with non-vaxed kids? Even if you don't plan to eventually vax? How many different Drs are there? GW has severe anxiety about the ped and we are overdue on checkups because of this. I'd love to find her a Dr that would entertain her and make her more comfortable!

We've been using Stationhouse Pediatrics in Stratford. They are open with the vax thing but Gwen HATES going there.
