does anyone know of a site that lists b&bs or other quaint accomodations for families (i.e. - that allows babies)???

we love doing b&bs when we travel but know that many of them don't allow small childen.

we're in SE PA - any recommendations on cool spots to visit that are in driving distance? we were thinking maybe ocean city, MD/rehoboth beach, DE.

I don't have any website recommendations, but I would JUST SAY NO to Ocean City in the summer.

I like Cape May if you're looking to go to a beach... Lancaster County is nice, too, depending on what you like to do. I don't know of any websites, but there are lots of B&B's in that area.

I don't have any specific recommendations for sites, but I will suggest taking one step away from a b&b and maybe try looking for a vacation home rental. We do this almost exclusively for our vacations and it's SO nice to have the home-like atmosphere. It's very private and helps to make the trip more economical by allowing us to eat several meals at "home", and we buy food to pack lunches for day-trips. I have always been able to find these rentals by doing a google search for the city/town with "vacation rental" tacked onto the end of it (example: "san diego vacation rental"). With smaller towns, I've also had luck calling the Chamber of Commerce - sometimes they keep listings of small b&b's or vacation rentals.
