What will you (or you dc) give your dh for Father's Day? I need some ideas.

Well, for mother's day, DH cleaned my car inside and out, so I'll probably do something like that for him. Either that, or buy him a book on CD to listen to during his commute.

I am making DH a "Daddy Pack"
My dad had one when we were growing up.

Just a simple backpack with all of the necessities inside. Diapers, wipes, snacks, band aids, sun screen, a toy, a teether, water bottle, sun hat, small blankie, change of clothes, nail clippers -- you get the idea.

That way he can feel like he can strike off with DS and be prepared without mama (between nursings that is )

I'm making DH a dvd slideshow of pictures from our kids' lives-pg with the first one to now (which is taking me *forever*!)

putting it to music-in this case he's a beatles fan so I asked his best friend for a few suggestions and will include those.

that, and a double jogger

my dh has to be the hardest person to shop for!

I like the slideshow idea, but since this is our first year with ds I might have to save that for another year. I also love the footprint picture frame, but I did a footprint stepping stone for his birthday. I want tto do something like those. (Though he really could use the clean the car thing. :LOL )

Since dh loves coffee I bought a travel mug that you can decorate yourself and am going to put pictures of dd with her daddy in it and the words from a song dh sings to her (he made it up -- it's about pooping and changing diapers, of course ). Nothin' like drinking coffee from a mug with a song about poop written on it. Anyway, I got the travel mug at Starbucks (I know, bad).

Nothing!! He didn't even tell me "Happy Mother's Day" until I broke down in tears. :

I'll probably still make his day as special as possible, I'm just not sure what I'm going to get him yet.

I read about this on another board and I plan on doing it this year. I'm going to buy wooden letters for D A and Y. I'll take a bunch of photos in the yard with DS holding each of the letters. Then, I'll pick the best and put them in a 5 opening frame to spell out D A D D Y. Or, I'll find a nice picture of DH and DS and use that with the D A D D Y pictures and make a collage in Photoshop.

Some of the moms who did it last year are taking new pictures for A D D Y this year. Next year, they'll replace the D D Y, so they'll be some younger pictures and some newer pictures each year, if that makes sense.
