My fave AIO's for my firstborn were Motherease. First, I'd tried Kushies and Bumkins, and I liked the ME WAY better -- they fit perfectly (adjusting the waist and leg separately was SO helpful!), no wicking (at the waist), no leaking.

I'd like to buy some more AIO's for the baby we're expecting, even as small as newborn size, but I wonder whether the world of AIO's has changed in the last three years. Are the ME AIO's still the best?

Thanks!

Well I like Bumkins. I have a set of newborn AIOs that have been used on my 3, and still work great. But that's just me.

Bumping because maybe someone else has another idea.

I absolutely, totally, and completely Very Baby Very Basic AIOs for newborns! The XS/NB size fit my 7lb2oz baby perfectly from the start, sitting below his navel and being very trim. I have tons of pictures of him showing off his VBs because they're so stinkin' cute and fit so well! (You can see some at his site.) I highly recommend Sunshine at FlutterbyBaby for Very Baby AIOs (though I wish I didn't recommend them so much, 'cause she's getting awfully busy! :LOL).

I'm with Heather - I had one XS VB AIO for Luke and it was super. He was 6lbs 8oz and it fit him nicely, and was so trim. Also, nice and stretchy and no red marks or anything.

I agree with the previous 2. My son weight 8.4 and looked SO cute in his. He's now about 11 and his very round belly has made him not fit into them anymore. They were the only cloth diapers that fit him for a week or so there.

I really liked my Little Lambs AIOs when Holden was a newborn. But if you do not have usper teeny babies, buy the mediums because the newborn sized dipes only fit my 7.9 pounder for a few days. But the prints are adorable and they were just right for Holden!

i got so obsessed with this subject when i was pregnant with ollie (our fourth) that i did a whole webpage on newborn cloth. it's got links to some of my favorites. and some really fun pictures too it's enough to make me want another baby. now i have to limit myself to hooking my pregnant friends on cloth

my page (its sort of out of date, i really need to update it) is at www.elliebelly.com/williamsdiaperpage.htm

I made Niamh 4 of the nb vb aio's and I really like them! I made two with snap in soakers and I like them better than the true AIOs just because of the dry time but I love the way they fit (Niamh was 8 pounds 3 ounces at birth). I wish I had made more in the NB size but I made 12 smalls instead LOL and they don't fit yet!

Oh ya...edited to add that these fit below the umbilical cord so were great right from the start

The sell it at www.diapershop.com but it looks like they are closed until the 29th at least. Its actually a really good pattern. I made them with hemp and sherpa, knit terry or velour (just cause that is what I have in abundance in this house LOL) so they aren't quite up to the "spec's" but still mighty trim!
