Do you have a favorite food dehydrator? Or have any tips for someone picking one out?
My favorite U-pick strawberry farm is open in 2 days, and I'd really like to be able to dry some of the berries this year. Of course, I still haven't managed to pick up a dehydrator. I'm leaning towards a Nesco, and am looking at the American Harvest 700 wt For $70, or the Snackmaster for $38. I like the $38 price tag a lot better, but some of the reviews say it is so noisy, folks put them in the garage. That isn't really an option for me, and neither is the basement, so I'm kind of thinking it might be worth the extra $30 for a quiet one.
