I looked and looked in past threads and couldnt find anything..

Does anyone wanna gimme a recommendation for a nursing bra for plus sized mamas( im a 42 DD right now @ 36 weeks( not sure what I am nursing as this will be the first time Im gonna DO it, second child Im attempting with)

Ive read such GREAT things about the Bravado Supreme... But is it REALLY Worth $45.00!?!? Im sure I could get away with less expensive ones and tanks for home, but would like a nicer" HOISTER" for public( LOL....hoister...)

Thanks

I do like the Bravado bras. I shopped around online and found mine for a little less than buying directly from Bravado. I have a friend who bought her nursing bras at Target on clearance. I think the key might be the sports bra back. Bravado bras are really easy to use. I just got two - one to wear and one to wash, but I waited until about 8 weeks after my dd was born. Until then I made do with built in bra tanks!
I hope your breastfeeding attempt goes well - post here if it doesn't and lots of people will give you help and support!

I too shopped around. For a long time. I finally came across a plus sized bra at the Hanes outlet. I bought what they had in stock in my size and then went online and ordered more. This after I spent a fortune on bras at Motherhood Maternity. I tried them on in the store but when it came to actually wearing them...they were aweful. And they have a no return policy on undergarments. The Hanes bras are so comfortable and easy to wear, even while feeding.

I don't have an actual nursing bra; I have an Unbra from Decent Exposures (they advertise in Mothering). It was expensive, but worth it. I am a 38J. I just cannot find a bra to fit me in the stores. Before that, I was wearing a JustMySize active support bra, and I loved it, but the cup sizes stop at I. It wasn't a nursing bra either, though. I did have a nursing bra with DD#1, and for me it didn't have any advantages over using a regular bra.
