Well, a few months ago I jumped on the wool bandwagon and sold off all of my bummis. Now I am wishing I had one PUL cover to use when we are out and about. My dd is such a heavy wetter that wool gets damp pretty quickly when she is sitting in the car, shopping cart, or stroller. I mean, honestly, I could change her every 15-30 minutes, she pees so much!

Of course I would much rather have a WAHM made cover, but I don't know which ones would hold up with my super wetter. What are your suggestions? Should I go for an all PUL cover? I am guessing, like AIO's, it is better not to have a knit/woven outer fabric. Would I just be better off with a Bummis?
Thanks in advance!!

If you're looking for cheap covers, I like Green Earth PUL wraps. These are the only PUL covers I like, they are VERY soft and flexible, the only problem is that they get pilly if machine washed, so I hand wash them (which only takes me like a minute anyway)

I love my Tykie PUL. She redesigned it so it fits nicely. I hate FOE so that's why I like hers. I use them when I'm feeling lazy. BTW, her L are really big. The M fits my 20 and 30 lber. I'm sure she can do just PUL if you ask her. She might even have some colors. She's very accomadating - best WAHM I've EVER worked with.

Wigglewormbottoms! These are awesome covers!!! They are not PUL on the outside, they have knit or woven material, but they are great. They hold up well to a heavy wetter and I even put them on Luca overnight sometimes and he doesn't leak. They are also VERY well made and lots of cute fabrics to choose from.

http://www.wigglewormbottoms.com/

I bought some ME AF when we first started CD'ing back in Feb/Mar, and ds is still in the same size and they're still going.

I tried a Bummi's cover, but I just didn't like it or the fit on ds. The ME AF have only leaked once, and *nothing* would have stopped that poopsplosion. We use them at home and on the go (if the Daisy Doodles are in the wash).

If you like all the benefits of wool then www.little-fishy.com She makes and awsome aqua shell cover that is one sized. Kira is great to work with, but these covers are amazing. They are made of a super trim aqua shell material, the inside of the aqua shell is a black fleecy like material, then she lines the outside with microfleece. So soft, no matter what part of the cover is touching ds's skin. They are machine washable, but I just quickly hand wash mine and ring out to keep the fleece nice. They do not leak at all! They are also breathable. Ds has not had red bum back since switching.

this technically isn't PUL (i think it's called poly) but hands down the best PUL-like cover i have found is the Tots Bots poly wrap - they are plain white but ULTRA thin and stretchy...soft on the outside. velcro crossover tabs. great price. only place i know of to have them is www.betterforbabies.com i love it for outings since it is so trim
