I know there are a ton of free mitten patterns available online. Do you have a favorite for toddlers? I would like a pattern with the thumb on the side instead of the front so each mitten could be worn on either hand and would prefer to knit in the round, but could probably convert a flat pattern. Thanks!

I just whipped these up for my dd, not knit in the round but they honestly knit up SO FAST, knitting flat didn't seem like a big deal. And they are hand-neutral - http://www.knittingatknoon.com/mittenpatt.html

Thanks Glittergal. I finished the hat I was working on last night and coincidentally this is the mitten pattern I decided to try, but I am knitting them in the round to avoid seaming.

Any other patterns people like?
