This is #3 for me...well, actually #4 since my first pregnancy was an 8 week miscarriage.<br><br>
I'm lying in bed, on my back (propped up with pillows), with the laptop on my thighs.<br><br>
I swear I just felt and saw a little flip on the left side of my stomach, just below my belly button.<br><br>
I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow. Could I really be feeling the baby this early or was it just a muscle spasm precursor to getting sick again?<br><br>
I have hyperemesis and just can't poke around looking for my uterus without becoming ill...<br><br>
Anyone else feel their baby move so early in 3rd or subsequent pregnancies?

The most I can say is I get twitches on my left side, too, and in that spot we heard the heartbeat strongest on Thursday. I'm nine weeks two days.

This is my 3rd as well and I felt a very definite flip right at 10 weeks. I'm sure you felt your baby! Over the last 2 weeks, it's been sporadic. Sometimes I don't feel the baby for a few days. Over the last few days (I'll be 12 weeks on Tuesday) I've felt the baby more frequently, a few times a day perhaps. Still there are days that I don't feel the baby at all. It's just so early. It sure is exciting though when you feel that first movement!

This is #4. I know that I felt Jack fairly early, but it was closer to 11 or 12 weeks.<br><br>
With this one, I am 9 weeks, and sometimes if I am sitting in a certain position, I can feel this flipping really low. I don't know if it is the baby, because I don't think they DO full dlips this early. At 9 weeks they're just starting to be able to tell their muscles to move and their arms are about the length as this capital I.<br><br>
Still, it makes me smile and I know what's to come. I just wish I knew if that was the baby!

I was 12 weeks last Monday and I swear I felt something externally- Is that possible, ya think? I was laying in bed, on my back, and I had my hand on my belly, low, down near the pubic bone, and I felt something that felt distinctly like the rolls I felt with DD when I was further along with her- Could I possibly have felt the baby from the outside already???

True, but they do move involuntarily. They just can't control their movements yet. Can't remember when they begin controlling them. I think it's soon.

Absolutely could be baby. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"> I have always felt mine relatively early (#1 @ 14 1/2 weeks, #2-4 @ 16 weeks, and #5 @ 10 weeks). And this morning I felt this one, too. Not gas. Definitely baby!
