I've been having painful contractions all day. Sometimes they get regular, then they space out. They're not consistent OR increasing in strength, though, so I know it's just BH... or basically it's not to the point where I need to/should go in to the hospital or anything.

I'm tired. I'm sore. Ds is being a total pill. I don't freaking have the energy to deal with his behavioral issues right now (we're having some problems, autism-related, it's been going on for a few weeks now). I can hardly walk.

I do NOT want this baby to come yet, for one thing it's too early, for another, we have plans made, damn it, and I don't want to scrap those plans.

These contractions are really starting to piss me off. They hurt, damn it. Dh is at work. He knows what's going on, he'll come home if I tell him to. I just...ugh. I'm just tired of being in pain and tired of being tired.

:

Woe be unto the person who crosses my path today, that's all I gotta say.....

I do feel better today (only a few sporatic BH and not nearly as hard as they were), if that helps at all.

Ugh, well that makes me feel a little better. These things are every 2-5 minutes. They get that way for like, an hour, then slack off when I sit or lay down, then the second I get up to do something, *wham* they start back. It's getting frustrating. I can't get up to pee without contracting.

I have a page into my midwife.

They're about every 3 min. now, pressing into my rectum and pelvis. Ow.

I'm sorry, Finch! Sounds like you're really having a tough time of things. Here's to hoping those contractions let up--I'm sure they're making dealing with everything else that much more difficult.

Seems like a lot of us are having nasty BHs lately!

I spent 20 minutes on the stationary bike at the gym yesterday and contracted all evening and most of the night. I took a bath, I drank, nothing got rid of them. Going to bed didn't even get rid of them...til this morning (things seemed to have calmed down). I just wonder if it's easy to get things stirred up at this stage of the game??????

Hopeing all is well too...

Well, it was better..... The midwife said as long as the ctx went away when I laid down, then I didn't have to come in. Yesterday dh came home early from work and I laid down for 2 hours. The ctx went away, but the *minute* I got up, *wham* back to every 3-5 minutes. So I said screw it, I have a life to live and we went to the grocery. I contracted my butt off the rest of the night, every 3-5 minutes, painful, some so bad I was white-knuckling it and breathing through them. It really pissed me off.

Ds decided to wake up at 2 am crying for me, and then refused to go to sleep until 4am, so I kept him out of school so we could sleep and recover somewhat. Dh was really pleased about being sent to sleep in the guest bedroom at 2 am so ds could bunk with me. Today I woke up feeling the panicked urge to get stuff done. I guess this is the proverbial nesting urge that I never had with ds? ::: I did about 6 loads of laundry, cleaned out the closet, cleaned out the dressers, got stuff together for goodwill, changed the sheets on ds's bed and washed our duvet cover and shams, washed the feather pillows.....: Needless to say, my back is killing me now. Oddly enough, though, the ctx aren't as frequent today. Which is weird, considering I've been martha stewart on speed.

Anyway, I'm better in the sense that the ctx aren't bugging me as badly and they aren't as frequent or strong. Worse because my back is so wrenched that I can hardly waddle in a straight line. LOL.

All I know is, this kid CAN'T come before 12/15, because I have plans, damn it. He's free to make his appearance after that, but not before.

I've been the same way. Almost every night I'll have strong contractions 3 minutes apart that last 60 seconds. The other night they were bad enough that I was snapping at my family to all leave my alone and shut up.

Luckily they haven't been dilating my cervix anymore (I know how to check), so they're just annoying more than anything else. I had this with the last two pregnancies also and it lasted literally months.

Sorry, that's probably not too encouraging... I'm sure yours won't be that bad!
