For the past few days this baby has had his foot wedged up by my ribs, off & on. When he's really up there, it feels like all my organs are being squished upwards & it's a bit difficult to breathe.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm not quite 26 weeks & didn't expect it this soon.

Also, anyone else dealing with heartburn? UGH! I don't care for this part of pg much.

Definitely feeling the heartburn! Tums Smooth Dissolve are my friend... :LOL

Not there with the squished feeling, though. In my pg group on another board, people are always talking about how their kiddos are kicking their ribs, kicking their cervixes, smooshing their bladders, etc... I feel left out, because my little guy doesn't do any of that!

Totally squished. The breathing thing is really irking me. I sigh a lot and DH is always thinking I'm huffing at him for something. I'm like, "I'm not huffing, I swear! I can't freakin' breathe normally!" :LOL Also, I can't eat as much. (This might be a good thing.

LMBO Keely! I SO understand. It's not sighing or huffing...you just can't seem to catch your breath sometimes!

As for the heartburn, I've heard pineapple enzyme works well. I've even heard a swig of whole milk will do the trick, but I hate the stuff so I won't be reporting on how well that works. :p

ME! Squished, squished, squished!! I can't sit comfortably unless I'm totally leaning back. Everything is so far up my ribcage I can't help but think the next few months are really gonna suck! Hopefully it stops going straight up and pops forward a little. My third pregnancy was just like this and it's not something I relish reliving.

I've been having the squished feeling for weeks... Ry's definately growing faster than Bran ever did! I almost threw up because Ry thought it'd be great to use my STOMACH (the organ, not the general tummy area) as a kicking bag... My poor ribs hurt all the time... LOL!

I'm feeling a bit squished, and my belly feels taut like a drum...not much wiggle or jiggle. Just this big, hard belly. I also sigh a lot. Eating smaller amounts these days, more often. I think if I ate a Chipotle burrito, I'd explode!

Very squished here too. Keely I thought I was the only one who sighed all the time :LOL thats too funny. Dh is always asking me whats wrong
At first it was cute now its just annoying. Its the same thing it was the last time you asked, I can't breath!

Chewable calcium works great on heartburn (its the main ingredient in tums actually).

Squished...hmm, right now, no. I am carrying her lower than I carried myson, but I tell ya, over Memorial Day weekend, I STUFFED myself, and couldn't breath. LOL On Saturday at my parents house I had to retreat to the recliner for half an hour just to breath! So I need to pay attention to how much I put in. It also had a lot to do with what pants or shorts I was wearing. I have a few pair that are getting a little tight, but are SO CUTE..I'm so awful too, I know they are un comfortable after a while, but I wore them anyway.

What's really annoying is when I get comfortable in bed, and dh will roll over on me and HE will squish me into the bed, then I really can't breath and have to shove him off me!

I am feeling squished - and am measuring BIG right now, as well. Dr. wasn't concerned, but surprised... me too!! Could be miscalculation in dates, could be excess fluid, could be GD, could be big baby, could be nothing. Glad they narrowed it down for me!! LOL

Heartburn hits me no matter what I eat, no matter what time of day.
I find my evening snack to be cereal with lots of milk lately! LOL Oh, and water makes it horrible!!

Not feeling too squished yet, but am carrying very low. In about 15 weeks this baby should just fall out of me I'm carrying so low! :LOL I do tend to have babies with long torsos and I'm measuring 3 weeks ahead, so I'm expecting to feel squished very shortly!

I am not feeling squished yet either. I also have a long torso (for a short person). I am also carrying very low. I love how my hip bones and spine make such wonderful punching bags. Hehe! I am totally in the heartburn boat. Minty Maalox is my best friend on some days. I do find that eating a bowl of cereal before I go to bed helps some.

I am also measuring ahead. Very strange for me since I know I didn't concieve any earlier... if anything it was later than I remember. My mw isn't concerned. She just says that we will moniter it over the next couple of visits. I imagine that I too will start feeling squished in the next month or so.

whether this is true or not, I'll take it! :LOL

Defintily feeling SQUISHED!!! I have a very short torso and DP always gives me this worried look when I'm breathing heavily (or trying to)... I'm just like "hehe, trying to find my lungs, don't mind me!"

doing some prenatal yoga stretches that open up your rib cage work wonders for me...plus the breathing.... AHHHHHH

Definately feeling squished!

The past few days, I've noticed the baby keeps wedging his little feet up into my ribs! Not a pleasant feeling to say the least. Now I know why so many pregnant women walk around with their hands resting on top of their tummies!
:

My uterus is also measuring a little big right now (29.5 at only 27.5 weeks)
