I am 16 weeks in, well a couple of hours, so lets just say Im 16 weeks. I feel...so not great physically, I feel feelings I have not experienced in my previous three pregnancies until third trimester..like 35 weeks and up.
I just cannot believe it...so early with all of these discomforts, I constantly catch myself having to make an effort to take a deeper breath, to straighten my back because I feel like when I slouch there is that pressure on my stomach thats not letting me breath deeply...but its not like my back wants to stay up straight either.
The round ligament pain if I move the wrong way in bed is ridiculously strong..My belly is h.u.g.e. - yes I look 6 month along (7 if i have any food in my stomach, which i always do now). I am waddling-yes, waddling for sure in the evenings when i walk yet again from one room to another to bring something to somebody for the thousandth time. I am 125 lbs now (up from 109) so it's not like it's a weight issue for me. I am just really really progressing fast here in terms of my body really *knowing* its pregnant.
I am gladly dealing with all of this now but I am just afraid of- what is next? If things progress at this rate Im gonna want DH to move the couch next to the fridge, prop me up on it and call it a day.

I've been saying all 1st trimester that I feel like I'm already 2nd trimester... shortness of breath and uncomfortable pressure on my tummy. (tmi: if I bend over too soon after eating I feel like it's going to come back up...)

I do have 2 in there but I think you're right that's it's mostly due to the rapid change in weight/size. I'm also right around 105 lbs pre-pregnancy (umm... with shoes...after a big meal...)

Ohhhh how I can relate and this is just my second!!! I have no words of advice, only commiseration!! I look 6 months pregnant, my face is horribly puffy and my bum has grown 2 inches already, my back hurts, and yes, I too get the round ligament pain sooooo much too! When I was pregnant with my son I weighed more, looked cuter and felt so much better lol! Well, only 5-6 months to go. Now I'm off to again!!!!

I'm there with ya. It is my third pregnancy. I am feeling huge--I AM huge. I look like 6 months. The heartburn! Oh the heartburn. I keep thinking things like, "If I am this big now, then how big will I be at 9 months!" Oh my, I hope things level out.

I wasn't feeling that big until I met someone last week with the same due date as me. She looks about the same size as me pre-preg and doesn't even have the littlest baby belly yet. It is her 1st, but still . . . It made me feel huge.

I also am having sciatica that didn't happen until the 3rd tri last time, braxton-hicks too. I expected to show a little quicker this time but not for the other things to start so early!

I find myself waddling, too. I think that our bodies are definitely familiar enough with this pregnancy thing by now that they just want to get on with it.

I have been telling my DH this same thing for a few weeks. I'm 17 weeks today, and I definitely feel about 7mnths. This is #5 and from the beginning, it's felt like my body just gave up and is surrendering to every bit that pregnancy has to offer.
